For more than 30 years, the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival has showcased the mushroom industry and the surrounding community. Known as the Mushroom Capital of the World, the Kennett Square, PA, area is home to nearly 60 percent of all mushroom production in the United States. We are thrilled to announce we will be back in town on State Street for 2022! We encourage your support.
Each year, the Mushroom Festival provides proceeds from the Festival to local charities and non-profit organizations. Over the past 20 years, the Mushroom Festival has donated more than $1 million in funds to local organizations for things like books, playground equipment, food, transportation, and healthcare services. While the Mushroom Festival is a weekend event, its impacts last all year long. And none of it is possible without you—our sponsors.
Some of the past recipients include ALS Association ,Bournelyf Special Camp , Chester County Women’s Services, Garage Community and Youth Center, Kennett Education Foundation, Longwood Fire Company No. 1, Meals on Wheels of Chester County, North Star of Chester County, and many, many more.
