Think your little one is the cutest “button” around? Enter them in one of the Mushroom Festival’s favorite annual traditions, the Cute as a Button (Mushroom) Baby Photo Contest!
Families can submit photos of their little ones for a chance to be crowned one of our 2026 winners while supporting a great cause in the community.
Entry Fee: $10 per submission
Submission Deadline: September 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM (EDT)
How the Contest Works
At the Cute as a Button Booth located near State & Union Streets during the festival:
- Each contestant’s photo will be displayed on an individual donation box
- Festival attendees can “vote” for their favorite baby by donating pocket change
- Online voting will also be available through our website and Eventeny
- The contestant in each category with the highest donations wins their title
All proceeds help support the Mushroom Festival’s nonprofit mission and community grant program.

Contestants will be placed into categories based on their age as of September 12, 2026.

6 – 15 Months
Crimini
15 – 24 Months
Portabella
24 – 36 Months
Prizes & Recognition
The top contestant in each category will receive:
- Official 2026 Winner Recognition
- Prize awarded to the top fundraiser in each category
- Winner announcement on the festival website
- Recognition in the Chester County Press

Who will take home the title of Cutest Button, Crimini, or Portabella? Visitors can vote for their favorite contestant by dropping pocket change into voting jars at the festival or submitting votes online through our website using Eventeny.
